I install a lot of video conference systems that make use of either dedicated PCs or configured MTRs. I usually connect audio (in and out) through a USB connection. To prevent user error, I will then go into the Sound Control Panel and disable all other audio options in both the Playback and Recording tabs, so that only the USB connection to the room's audio system is available.I have noticed that sometimes, after windows updates, the audio options I have disabled reappear in the Sound Control Panel, and in addition sometimes they become selected by default, which means we have to go back to
